Equinox now offers new available features for 2016. Side Blind Zone Alert uses short range radar sensors to "look" for other vehicles in your blind zone areas, and will signal a warning if a vehicle is detected. Available Rear Cross Traffic Alert uses the same radar sensors as the Side Blind Zone alert feature to help warn you of cross traffic vehicles when backing up. In addition to new features Equinox will offer options such as Rear Park Assist, Forward Collision Alert and Lane Departure Warning that are available on today's Equinox

The 2016 Equinox surrounds you with a variety of advanced safety features including six air bags, a steel safety cage and the LATCH (Lower Anchors and Top Tethers for Children) system.

Automatic Crash Response with OnStar uses built-in sensors to automatically alert an OnStar Advisor, who is immediately connected into your Equinox to see if you need help. Even if you don't respond, an OnStar Advisor can use GPS technology to pinpoint your exact location and request that emergency help be sent immediately.
